Gyatso or Gyamco (Tibetan: རྒྱ་མཚོ, Wylie: rgya mtsho, ZYPY: Gyamco) is Tibetan.... meaning "ocean". It is also written Rgya-mtsho in Wylie transliteration, Gyaco in Tibetan Pinyin...ocean: རྒྱ་མཚོ (rgya mtsho)....it can also be spelled "Gyamtso" in English.

"The most common type of offering on Tibetan Buddhist shrines are water offerings. It also called yonchap in Tibetan. The offering bowl set normally has sever bowls. One reason that we offer water is that water in Tibet has traditionally been considered plentiful and free, and therefore painless to give. The idea is that all of our offerings should be given as freely as we would give water."

Aqua vitae /ˌeɪkwə ˈvaɪtiː/ (Latin for "water of vitality") or aqua vita.....the preparation of aqua vitae, the "water of life", was a fairly popular "experiment" among European alchemists....

"An important example of alchemy's roots in Greek philosophy, originated by Empedocles and developed by Aristotle, was that all things in the universe were formed from only four elements: earth, air, water, and fire......The Greek word water: "hudatos" It is the instrument of baptism. It is an emblem of spiritual nourishment.....In Ancient Greek religion, a holy water called chernips was created when extinguishing in it a torch from a religious shrine.

the idea of "blessed water" is used among Buddhists. Water is put into a new pot and kept near a Paritrana ceremony, a blessing for protection.

Thai Buddhism.....พรรษา or "PHANSA" is the Buddhist rainy season. The rain retreat or Buddhist Lent is marked by two major religious events : one for the entering of the rainy season called "WAN KHAO PHANSA" (วันเข้าพรรษา) and for the exit of the rainy season called "WAN OK PHANSA" (วันออกพรรษา).....During the rainy season, i.e. three months, approximately July, august, September (depending on lunar months), monks aren't allowed to sleep outside their temple and cannot defrock. This tradition is coming from old times when Buddha stayed in temples during rainy season to avoid killing insects or growing seeds. It is a period for study, meditation and to teach new monks. A holy well or sacred spring is a spring or other small body of water revered either in a Pagan or Christian context, often both. Holy wells were frequently pagan sacred sites that later became Christianized. ...In ancient Greece and Rome a nymphaeum or nymphaion (Greek: νυμφαίον), was a monument consecrated to the nymphs, especially those of springs.

This cellitial land is located beyond the mountains of the Koh-i-Kaaf, which separates Persia from the Northern glacial regions.
